CEO of the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN)
Donna Meyer, MSN, RN, ANEF, FAADN, FAAN, is CEO of the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN). As the CEO of OADN, Meyer and her organization are recognized for providing visionary leadership in nursing education and improving the health and wellbeing of the communities they serve. In October 2019, she was named to the American Academy of Nursing’s 2019 Fellows Class, garnering her the nation’s top honor in nursing. She currently serves on the Department of Health and Human Services’ National Advisory Council for Nurse Education and Practice, National Nursing Committee of the American Red Cross, American Association of Community Colleges Workforce Commission, Community College Baccalaureate Association Board of Directors, and Nurses on Boards Coalition Board of Directors. She holds numerous honors, including but not limited to the National League for Nursing Fellow in the Academy of Nurse Educators, Professor Emeritus Lewis and Clark Community College, Honorary Fellow in the Academy of Associate Degree Nursing, the Southern Illinois University Hall of Fame, and the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award.
